Well, it’s a new year finally. I do hope it is far better than last year. Maybe this year I’ll be higher up on the scale of importance… Above the guitar and maybe the iPhone too. Fat chance. What would my dear hubby J do if I got hit by a bus tomorrow? I wonder. No use feeling sorry for myself. I have to do something different thus year. I should get out and explore the world like everyday is my last. Sound plan, eh?

Las Vegas

i went to vegas this past weekend with my sisters and my parents. boy, has it changed! on the strip it seems more like a cross between walking through tijuana and new orleans. there are so many entertainment solicitors that you have to push your way through them as well as all the drunken folk holing kamakazes shaped like the eiffel tower in paris.

it might be awhile before i head back over there. gambling isn’t the same now that you have to spend your entire month’s mortgage amount to play for “fun.”

it just sucks. it’s stormy and windy and i have to take the fucking bus home today. ugh. double ugh. at least i won’t be going out tonight once i get home. it’s a good day for home cooked food, tv, and a good book.

i told my 7 yr old son what “flipping the bird” meant a couple of days ago. i told him it meant “fuck you” and he said what does THAT mean? i just told him it was swearing and he just nodded an accepted it. funny how the truth gets them to be quiet.

I really hate Mondays. I’m so tired today that I’ve had to have 3 cups of coffee. Something’s going on because I can’t sleep either. I’m lonely. I want to be held, cuddled….. feel loved. Sigh.

i’m not sure why i started this blog. maybe just to get some thoughts down. now that i’m at this point, i’m not sure what to write. my thoughts? my ideas? my experiences? well, who is going to give a shit? no one but me. ok. i can do this.

i’m working right now thinking that this day is truly going too slow. i’m not even half way through it and i want to take a nap already. is this what i have to look forward to everyday until i’m old? maybe i be better at this tomorrow or later. whatever.
